Yes! But I find it hard to believe any kebab house could beat Mangal II - especially one with what looks like an Italian name - not the spiritual home of kebab. Sadly not yet in SG though they did have a branch in Upper St for a while.<div><br></div><div>OK, somebody explain to me where the name really comes from, I'm just guessing.</div>

I just had some chips on the way home from a good night out on Saturday. They were good and the service was amazing. Very friendly despite the drunken mayhem all round

The name came from the branch in Kentish Town.  Having leased the site, the owners stripped back the modern facade, revealing - to their surprise - the original signage: E Mono.  They kept it...

I had a kebab at the new branch without realising it was E Mono and my goodness it was good. Very highly recommended

Kebablicious was great, tasty kebabs, friendly owner and a cool little back room you could smoke a shisha in. Shame it never worked out.

I had an E Mono kebab last Friday night. Lamb shwarma, fantastic and great value. <br><br>My only complaint is that it cooled down too much before I could get back to Hanley Road. <br>The shop needs to be further up Stroud Green Road!<br><br>Next time, I'll eat in.<br>

They are absolutely brilliant, and amazing value.  I had three in one week, and now try not to walk past it.

Just had my first e mono kebab.  Completely delicious (and such good value), reconverted me to takeaway kebabs.  Might even risk a doner/shawarma from there. Hope it won't become an addiction but can see the temptation.

Best kebabs ever.<div>I went there after reading this thread, and have now been about 6 times in 6 weeks...<br><div>I definitely recommend the lamb shawarma. (They often run out in the evenings though...)</div></div><div>Amazing taste, not fatty at all, at amazing value, with a friendly service. </div><div>Can't recommend this place enough!</div>
