<font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Congratulations on the new dog! We use Hornsey Vets for our cats and they've been excellent.</font><div style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;"><br></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><a href="http://hornseyvets.co.uk/">http://hornseyvets.co.uk/</a></font></div>
Come to Hornsey Road if you ever need pets taking to 'the other side '. If is often needed, sadly. And there is no point in these circs of paying Muswell Hill prices. IMHO,
Chang
I use Hornsey Vets. They're fine, although they seem to have a lot of locums and churning of staff. I think they're a bit of a well-oiled machine, with very efficient regular texts about updates on vaccinations etc. The cost of it all, takes my breath away sometimes.<div><br></div><div>I like Zasman too, they seem more friendly. I'm thinking of switching. My dog walker is always popping in there to get fat dogs weighed and one off bits of advice. Yesterday he said he went in there when his pack of nine dogs including my two, happened upon a wasps' nest and were attacked by a swarm. I don't think Zasman charged anything for taking all the stings out and checking them over.</div>
@gardener-joe: well - I use Hornsey Vets and the people I mainly see there are not the ones on the link to The Team, so I don't know if that's conclusive - though I haven't yet seen anyone I'd clock as Chang. (However since Chang keeps popping up recommending the killing of foxes, cats etc for the wider good that's probably just as well.)<div><br></div><div>They're nice - but they do tell you off - I would like to have a vet a little more sympathetic to human and feline weaknesses, really. (And my cats are genuinely not poorly cared for!) And it does cost a packet. Are other vets cheaper, then? </div>
@gardner-joe & comfortable_kate<div><br></div><div>Quite. I'd be curious to see his employer, or indeed the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, take a view on how Chang's statements and behaviour can be reconciled with the Code of Professional Conduct. </div><div><br></div><div>Except, of course, there is no 'Chang'. </div>
@arkady indeed. But as a side issue, 'conformable' not 'comfortable'. Serves me right for trying to be too clever (obscure Shakespearean refs here) - it has led to misunderstandings - but not the same thing!
