Steam Trains?

The hubby and I think we just heard a steam train. I thought i remember reading somewhere (probably here) they they do go by . We have never seen one here so am wondering if im imagining it , and were hearing things ?

There was one the weekend before last going north from fp station at about 9 am. Can't remember which day

Ooh exiting, don't know if we have fairies at the end of the garden but definitely have steam trains @ vetski Thanks for the link. Looking at the info the Bittern was in the are yesterday, it must have been it's trip between Kings Cross and Southall we heard when it went past Ferm Park.

@Misscara Seriously ? That would be worth seeing, could maybe take part in the Haringey open gardens, only allow entry to those dressed in vintage clothing as imagine it would be popular!

Impressive Misscara, I really appreciate the work that goes into creating personal worlds. Many of my customers create their own fantasy /fairy lands (particularly in the US) some taking up their whole house. Krappy may have a great idea. If we had a mini steam, people carrying shuttle ,going along side the PW. The new monstrosity on the corner of SHR could be demolished and little cole houses rebuilt to run it !
