I am happy that most seem happy, though am just hoping it is the Hulk Stella is happy with and not Kermit the frog or I might become unhappy ( he was my first crush).

I am happy to say finally been to a SG pup for the first time in yrs , got dragged into the Worlds End, was surprised at how young everyone seemed, and a bit put out that they don't sell Snowballs even at this time of yr.Was a bit bemused that they 'legally'could not sell me a double Baileys, had to buy two singles and pour it into the one glass ( when did this happen ? ). Further bemused that they had to run out and buy more Baileys ( seemingly my fault), must only keep one bottle in stock. Think I have worked out what a hipster might be and am happy am not one

Odd choice for first time in an SG pub. There are quite a few that are much better! Try Noble, Fullback (not on a sports night) or Stapleton. Of course everyone will tell you that none of them are as good as they used to be, but you might find them more enjoyable.
Will do Miss Annie, it was my friends choice since handy for her from the tube. She had been in before but not since it's revamp, and was disappointed with the new look! .
Yes, Chang, Backstreet Boys. I happen to be a huge fan, always have been and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Abba, Bowie and Backstreet boys are my longest loves when it comes to music.

Toddlesocks: The Fallback is much better than the WE, particularly in summer and not much further away from the Tube.
I liked the Noble a few years back but haven't been since then. The Old Dairy is more consistent than The Stapleton. It's cheaper, has friendlier bar staff but it's more crowded. The Faltering Fullback is good on a quiet day. The World's End is a bit too pub funk rock for my liking, but it's a good honest boozer. If you like a good pint of guiness go to the Twelve Pins.
Yes, Chang. In time for their 20th anniversary and star on the walk of fame.

I don't go to pubs much, but I like the Fullback (thanks, Annie) in the summer, or the Stapleton. Old Diary is nice to eat. For a last drink before going home, I prefer the Park Tavern.
@Sutent, try to go outside at break time, it really is beautiful today. And warm (ish) in the sunshine. Counting my blessings for being able to work to my own timetable nowadays, means I don't leave the house until the sun is well and truly up.
Good plane Annie. I will sit out at lunch and absorb the rays.

Missannie do you know this pub Misscara was talking about on Moray Rd? I guess it must of been where Yeats is

I know as far back as Red Rita's which was about seven years ago I think. Sure it was there when I lived in Tollington Way in 2007. Not sure what it was before that.
