Before we had running water delivered to the house where would the pumps in and around Stroud Green have been? I am guessing maybe in some of the pubs and at the old dairy just interested.

Detritus I went to the victorian pump in Tottenham recently. They used to pump the sewage from Harringey into the river lee but there was a cholera outbreak as people used to drink the water. It got diverted to the Thames.
