Dampproofing recommendation

Can anyone recommend someone to do some work on a basement flat. <div>Ta.</div>

Just be careful if it's an older property. We had some damp-proofing done in the basement flat, once the damp proof people stripped back the walls to do the treatment it was discovered the whole house was resting on rotten wood foundations. £30k later we have a structurally sound house. I found this all out the day after we bought our flat which is the top floor in the house.
