BBQ is still on for the 16th. We were thinking people to start arriving at around 3.30 - 4.00 and start to burn food at around 5ish. As the Doodle thing was ruined by someone with the mental attributes of a cuttlefish can you just confirm if you are coming.

True but it's still a cuttlefish and will end its days on a copy of the Daily Mirror at the bottom of a budgie cage.

Thats really interesting. I didn't realise cuttlefish bone is a main source of calcium for budgies. It helps keep their beaks strong. Thanks Detritus for that. I learn so much from this site.

So sorry been rushed off my feet at work, as much as I would like to do the BBQ I feel it's best to cancel, the weather forecast isn't good for Saturday (rain and cloud) Maybe we look for a clear weekend abd just do it on a few days notice, its a shame as we were both looking forward to it but at the moment our garden is still full of puddles from the rain over the week, and I can't see it drying out anytime soon. We are so sorry if people had made plans.
