Thanks, Detritus. I love giggling, and will even put up with louche double entendres, to get some. Funny - the best gigglers at my boarding school were all cricketers, too. I sometimes felt a bit left out, although some of my piano playing was quite gigglesome.

That's OK dude, there is something about TMS if you listen long enough to make you laugh. It's not just the description of the cricket it's everything the way they talk and describe whats going on in and around the pitch. Sad to say that blowers is leaving soon and johners and cmj being dead cramps their style somewhat. I don't think I would ever watch cricket on the TV, it's so much better on the radio, I even miss trying to find radio 4 longwave.
