Halloween!

Last year practically nobody came round for trick or treat and I was left with a bucket of Haribo ... this year it's 7.30, I've had about ten batches of kids through in two hours and I'm about to run out of sweets! Why these variations? Unnaturally warm weather makes people more excitable? Or is it just being on a Friday in half term?
