The Morrisons is apparently now not happening according to planning who have informed me they have withdrawn an application due to the fact that a Waitrose is due to open outside the new entrance!!
If anyone has any info let me know, I'm the new owner of Street Burger & Burrito btw.

I have been in one of those little Morrisons, there is one between Holborn and TCR. It's about the size of the Tesco on Hornsey Rd. Sandwiches, drinks, snacks, bit of tinned stuff, caters for people looking for lunch and emergency dinners.
I like Morrisons, the butcher and fishmonger in Holloway Rd branch know what they are talking about. My uncle, a butcher for 40 years, was impressed with the chaps' knowledge.
And when is Express Food Store going. That is a really good shop. As ADGS mentioned, they are the only local place where you can buy Fentimans drinks, they also sell Cawston Vale pressed juice and other ranges you wouldn't expect to find in a normal convenience store. They are very nice people too.
I have since found Fentiman's in the corner shop down past N4 library (also good for Transform-a-Snacks), but that's not to say I won't miss Express Food Store.
Licensing application for the Fish and Chip shop next to Pasta Remoli. Restaurant to be called Wings - sounds like it's either going to be a Chinese or a trendy chicken shop style place - I'm hoping on the later.<br><br>Also, I see Morrisons have completely pulled out of the convenience store business, probably a good thing they didn't build that shop on Clifton Terrace.<br>
I have asked one of the builder the other day and apparently it will be some kind of American fast food chain.<br><br>Nothing so trendy apparently...<br>
It could be this USA based chain who are expanding internationally - not dissimilar to Five Guys but focus on chicken.. If it is, Finsbury Park is a weird place to start your UK empire! Particularly as most of the USA locations are in small cities.

They would be mad not to do takeaway, it's beside a busy tube station (soon to be 24 hour) and opposite a halls of residence. Takeaway is the sensible business option.
Checked out the website.<br>"boneless" wings. Um...<br>Anyone want to google MSM (Mechanically Separated Meat) for me? Not sure I can face it mesself....<br>
I tried it out last night. Quality of the chicken seemed good, but I disliked the sauce/marinade which was far too sweet (admittedly they have many options) and the mozzarella sticks were artificial-tasting. I felt gross afterwards.<br>
I wonder if wing place would of closed if Wells Terrace had remained opened.. My walk home from the station takes me via a different route and I have discovered the large Turkish shop on corner of Durham Road and SSR does wonderful pastries and fresh bread
That shop is brilliant - always open, & has a good range of decent quality fresh foods too. I worry about Nisa on Clifton Terrace - I used to find myself nipping in there a lot on coming out of the Tube, and now I never do.
