Mega Cafe is now solely a Vietnamese cafe - think it's called Vietnamese Kitchen.
Ole Pera has changed names and Pizza Concept is now Guatavo's.
FYI, popped into the Vietnamese and the bang mi was really tasty
Along Stroud green road and up to Crouch Hill.
Vietnamese is a few shops down from La Fabrica, the newly named Ole Pera is up near La Porchetta, and Gustavo's pizza place is opposite The Hopsmiths bar/pub
Vietnamese! :excited:<br>I remember when the location for Rub/Brisket etc was going to be a Vietnamese and I was very excited then bitterly disappionted. <br>
This is like the Slow Rub/[enter other incarnation here]/Brisket american meat-fest restaurant. I think it has changed name and format two or three times now?
Vietnamese Kitchen!<div><br></div><div>Went there this evening for some pho and it was delicious</div><div><br></div><div>and boyb!!! </div><div><br></div><div>So happy this is round the corner from my house </div>
The place next to The Stapleton is being refurbed again. It's going to open as an Italian before Xmas.
That'll be three Italian restaurants at the bottom end of Crouch Hill.
Tried Gustavo's last night (opp the Hopsmiths) - the pizzas are really good and I recommend them. Great base and lovely toppings - proper Neopolitan pizzas. They need all the support they can get or they won't survive which will be a great pity.
Another shot for Gustavo's! Went there after the Hopsmiths last Friday. The manager was very nice and the pizzas were great! Like Bluerooster says - they could do with the support and they deserve it. Oh and it's BYO!
