  •  I have always thought that the convoluted W3 route to Northumberland Park was way too long. Maybe TFL will think about shortening it to Wood Green maybe and get quicker turn around time on buses

  • W3 was introduced in 1968 and the W7 in 1969, both initially as single deckers.
  • I  often go from Stroud Green Road to Wood Green on the W3 and the service is not that regular.  <div>The plus is that I get a seat as I go against the flow, but at times I have waited 10/15 mins for the bus to come.</div>

I always walk as I can't stand waiting for full busses to pass me at the Ossian Road stop. Totally full always. Even I had to go some where early and waited for a bus at 7am which whizzed past me totally full......on the way home at 7.15 the bus was too full I couldn't even get off. Bus diver didn't allow any more people on the bus along stoud green road. I don't mind walking it's only 15 or 20 mins but if I was old or pregnant or had a n injury or illness I would be more unhappy.....

  • It takes me 25 minutes to walk from Crouch End to FP (and I dawdle a bit). I never catch the bus back from Crouch End unless I've got a ton of stuff to carry, it's a really nice walk down the hill.
