I don't know about children's parties but Feast in Muswell,Hill catered for a christening party at home and it was excellent. Probably worth having a look at their menus to see what they do.
Most parents just get pizza. I used to work for a very posh (loads of hedge fund mothers & celebs) children's entertainment company . All the North London mothers ordered in pizza - Dominos usually.
The food is absolutely the least important thing at a kid's party. The children are too excited to eat it and couldn't care less. Get Prosecco for the mum's if they're staying at the party.
it isn't really. If the children are gluten and dairy intolerant (rare in kids), you can give them carrot and cucumber sticks with dips and crisps. Even Gwyneth Paltrow's kids were allowed to eat Dominos at parties.
Kids are absolutely not interested in the food, more important to make sure they are entertained. They'll kick off if they are bored not over food.
