The next book group book will be <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Heart is a Lonely Hunter</span>. It<span> is the debut novel by <span style="font-weight: bold;">Carson McCullers</span>; she was 23 at the time of publication. It's "a powerful study of alienation and loneliness in 1930s America".<br><br>Date: <span style="font-weight: bold;">Wednesday 9th March, 8pm</span><br>Location: <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Shaftesbury Tavern</span> (on the corner of Shaftesbury Road/Hornsey Road) in the back room.<br><br>New people are ALWAYS welcome to just turn up, or comment or message me on here if you would like more details.<br>We had two new people at the February meeting!
