@gardener-joe, actually I think that's quite good - it sounds as though they want it to become what the locals want, rather than imposing their version of what they think the locals *should* want.

Went in here on Saturday night following a birthday dinner at Season. With the proviso that I was already hammered, I would like to give it a thorough Arkady commendation. Nice ambience, lots of seating, music on at a talkable volume, and expertly mixed cocktails for less than a tenner - an increasingly rare thing, that. Great to have somewhere like this locally.

Dropped in for a pre-match couple of pints last night, spoke to Dave seems like he's pushing the old late night bar style with people drinking cocktails which is good. I liked the vibe and they gave me popcorn with my beer, generally good.
