If so, you could have exactly the skills needed to make a difference to a local family in Haringey.
Home-Start Haringey trains volunteers to support families with children up to 12yrs. By visiting a family in their own home and offering friendship, practical help and emotional support, our volunteers represent a lifeline for many families who are finding it hard to cope.
You will benefit from:
◾a rewarding experience in a supportive organization
◾40 hours training, which can lead to accreditation with the Open College Network
◾Regular supervision
◾Experience and skills for your CV
Home-Start Haringey's next Volunteer Training course starts on: Thursday 29th September 2016, 9.45 am – 3 pm 10 sessions lasting for 8 weeks (Wednesdays & Thursdays).
