Unveiling with (I think) Cunningham's Orient teammate, Cyrille Regis, is at 11.30am today. Today's Guardian previews it along with reporting English Heritage's initiative to try and get more Black and Asian nominees for its blue plaques scheme.

A person needs to have been dead for twenty years before they can be nominated. Allows for their reputation to settle.

The nearest blue plaque to Stroud Green after Laurie Cunningham appears to be to theatre architect Frank Matcham in Crouch End.
