Personally l think its not in keeping with the area (Stroud Green Conservation Area), it also contains no affordable housing. It's close proximity to the rear 1a Japan crescent (known as the Warehouse) will damage the foundations/structure. It will block out light not just from the Warehouse but also from adjoining houses 1 and 3 japan crescent.
I should make it known that l am part owner of 1a Japan Crescent.
What do you think?

It's an improvement on the previous application, but it's still blocky and out-of-character. That site need a comprehensive plan. It's a damn tricky site though - the existing low station building has some merit, but is arguably way too small for the site - it was inappropriate when it was built - as you can see from the scars of the much-taller building it replaced on the end of the neighbouring terrace. There are no perfect solutions there.
If it were me, I wouldn't build a new block at the back. Instead I'd juxtapose two-or-three additional stories on top of the single-story station building, maybe in glass and steel for contrast, and give it a similar roof to the existing one as a historical nod.

It has the history of the area with loads of maps and photos going right back to when SG was all fields. Worth downloading and keeping.
Looks like they are renovating the Station buildings back to something like original then sticking what Prince Charles would describe as a carbuncle on the back which I guess pays for it.
Train spotters delight I would think
