I thking it's the other half of the weird little building opposite Sainsbury's, the one that used to be a barber and then briefly half-barber half-Roti Joupa. Roti Joupa is staying (though never open when I want a Roti) but the barber is gone.

It's a pop up rather than a permanent space.
If through 'appear here' or similar it could be anything from a week to three months.

Hi everyone, Im one of the owners at the Hamburg. This week will be our first week proper, the first week was a soft opening, then the "big freeze' came. Sorry opening hours were a tad sporadic. Opening hours are:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Closed
Wednesday - 16.00 - 23.00
Thursday - 16.00 - 23.00
Friday - 12.00 - 15.00 16.00-23.00
Saturday - 12.00 - 15.00 16.00-23.00
Sunday - 12.00 - 18.00

Our instagram is - the.black.hamburg and is a good place to see what we are up to for that week. Hope we see you all at the shop over the next weeks, we are around till the end of the summer with an option to stay on.

"Pop-up" it may be, but I really don't like the idea of an eat-in place using disposable plastic plates. If you're cooking, surely you can do some washing up?

Mine was served in a little cardboard box.

all our packaging is from a company called bio pac, 100% composting 100% biodegradable we not using any horrible plastics. The plumbing may have still be not 100% at the time of visit. we inherited a pretty out of shape building but it’s coming along nicely now, bit by bit day by day.

Tried the beef shin tonight and it was spectacular! Looking forward to trying the aubergine and grilled cheese sandwiches soon. If only they had a side of mac and cheese balls!
