my second sky remote only works intermittently, with no obvious explanation as to why it does or doesn't. Have tried all interweb solutions and am going mad with first world problem. Anyone know anyone who (a) knows what they're doing and (b) whose call out charge is less than £145?

You could just buy a new remote for less than twenty quid.

I've got two and don't think the problem's with them, as they both work sometimes and then don't work sometimes.
