Someone just got stabbed in Moray road near the pub. Anyone know what happened

Glad he is alive he didn't look in a good way. It's the second stabbing I have seen this month. It's becoming too uncomfortably frequent now.

@HolbornFox I was (in the pub) but wasn't looking Pridetastic at all even though I'd been. Think i must have left by that time though. Have only just started going to WB Yeats, really like it.

I got there later, the road was taped off but there was no commotion.

I seem to haemorrhage money in that place, no idea why.

This piece in the Islington Tribune http://islingtontribune.com/article/drug-dealing-too-often-goes-unchallenged-in-finsbury-park specifically mentions Moray Rd as one of the area's drug dealing hotspots. Possibly something to do with the recent stabbing or could be completely unrelated.

I never see any signs at my end of Moray Rd and I come and go at all hours. I live at the Andover end. There was a particular house that was a problem but it was closed down after a trial last year.
The other end, at the junction with Woodfall Rd is a hotspot. There a number of police officers with van and cars stopping and searching young men on bikes coming through the alley from there into Everleigh St yesterday.

I have a friend who lives in Charteris Rd who told me that her end of Moray Rd hosts a lot of activity that looks like drug dealing.

Had a look after reading comments on here. The Andover end certainly seems a little dodgy with very blatant weed smoking going on.

You'll be hard pushed to find anywhere in N4 where is not blatant weed smoking going on. The area all around the station and entrances to the Park never smells of anything else, it's quite vomit inducing.
There's a regular little gang of young men/boys at Andover end who loiter about smoking. They don't seem involved with the dealing operations. I've seen the same little bunch as they've grown up for almost 10 years, the bench by the green - by the barrier has always been their favoured hangout.
They all dashed to the aid of the lady in the shop when someone was being aggressive and lairy in there quite recently, they are decent.

I've no issue with weed. It's the crack and smack that's always the issue.
