Thank you everyone who came last week! Now are the famous English summer holidays upon us again and we don’t blame you for preferring the charms of brighton pier to the dusty suburbs of North London; but if you are in town on a sunday we’d love it all the more if you’d come and hang out with us. The market doesn’t let up; the fruit become ever more varied and tasty; the iced coffee gets colder as the sun shines hotter.
And we have three new stalls this week! Ayelen and her friends at Mario’s Artisan Bakings combine their Argentinian, Brazilian and Italian roots, creating biscuits and pastries such as Alfajores and pastafrolas using home made guava paste and all organic ingredients. Then there’ll be hand-made jewelery by local resident Marta Nejman, and a wonderful array of extra virgin oils and vinegars by French connoisseur Cedric le Blais.
Hide Takemoto strums/plucks/flays his virtuosic guitar: an amazing free gig, his playing makes for much more than background entertainment.
See you there I hope…otherwise bonnes vacances!
