Wall Court SGR street trees

Glad to see the last of the three lost trees on the Stroud Green Rd outside Wall Court has been repaced. Nice. Fingers crossed they all settle in and flourish.

[Do report during this year any dead/dying/missing street trees in SG if you can. Tweeting to @ContactHaringey with photo is straightforward. The replacements then tend to get replanted during the following winter months]

@lawrence singha thanks for your perserverance. Haringey Council also promised a trial scheme to close and temporarily pedestrianise that corner, but reneged on that.

Rikki have you got you geography right ? When did something get proposed for wall court? There was a sort of a proposal from an architect students practical work quite a while ago further down the road where Bacchus id

Ah sorry, yes. My beef's outside Bacchus, where the council were supposedly trialling pedestrianisation. An opportunity missed during the CoVid summer.
