Two quick questions...

I've only lived on SGR since December so still figuring everything out... Today I was sat on my window ledge having a smoke (classy) and heard lots of screaming from the park then saw the top of a fairground ride whizzing around. Can anyone enlighten me to what this is for? Is it like an easter fair?
Secondly, whats happened to Woody's? Has it shut down?

They always have a fair on in the park around half-term. I've walked by it a few times. It's a bit crap. They destroy the grass, which is a bit of a pain for those of us who use the park to exercise.

Nix, if you haven't run away already, you should know that people here talk total crap 95 per cent of the time. You get used to it. There are, or were, three Woodies outlets. The main grocery store (by the Old Dairy), the Finsbury Park "news" shop and the kebab shop. At least, that's all I know of. They are no PAK. Not yet.

There's a Woody Grill in Camden. My husband asked them once if they are related to the Stroud Green empire. Apparently they are.

There is actually another Woody's in Shepherd's Bush - exactly the same format as the main one here. I prefer this one because it is a bit nearer.
