Monday 25th October
10-12.30 - A world full of natural dyes with Anne Barwick
Learn about using natural dyes and leaves from around the world to create permanent colours and patterns on cotton. We will use plants from Finsbury Park and recycled material to make patchwork squares for a community quilt and to take home. Wear old clothes or bring an apron.

1.30-4 - Nature Art - Hape Zome with Linda Royles
Prints from flowers and leaves. Starting with a forage for foliage and flowers, we then use a hammer to create stunning nature prints. Please bring a t-shirt or card. Wear old clothes or bring an apron. Suitable for ages 8 upwards.

Tuesday 26th October
10-12.30 - Forest Garden Chocolate Cacao with Vanessa Morris
Join us to create a wild batch of cacao forest chocolate, a healthy treat for all ages. We'll learn about the origins of chocolate, while making the cacao with spices, foraged fruits and flowers. To enjoy at the park or take some home as a gift. Wear old clothes or bring an apron.

1.30 -4- Willow lantern making with Vanessa Morris
We'll create vibrant and artistic paper lanterns, for taking on spooky walks and decorating your homes. Wear old clothes or bring an apron. Suitable for ages 8 upwards.

Wednesday 27th October
10-12.30 Scavenger hunts and Story telling with Sarah Bush
A morning of children's nature activities including scavenger hunts, clay modelling and stick storytelling. Wear old clothes or bring an apron.

11-12.30 and 2-3.30 EARTHWORM WATCH and SLUG SEARCH - Taking a closer look at these brilliant soil makers! with Jane Howson.
Join our mini citizen science project counting worms in our Forest Garden and locations in the park to discover how healthy the soil is - where and why?

We will also be hunting for slithery slugs to take a closer look with our magnifying glasses at these important soil makers and see how many different types we can find.

Wear clothes suitable for sitting and kneeling on the ground and be ready to get a bit dirty as we dig down to find these splendid creatures! Each session can accommodate two groups of 6 children and their carers on a fist come fist served basis. Suitable for all ages over 3yrs with help from their carers.

1.30-4 Mini mosaic making with Sarah Bush
An afternoon making your very own garden inspired mini mosaic - all materials provided and suitable for adults and children over 8.
