Between 1995 and 2020, the number of licensed cars in the capital city saw a net increase of 17 percent.

No company would actively seek to reduce their profits simply because they have lowered the wage bill.
  • This plan seems well put together - and addresses historic gaps in provision - there are huge areas with no cycling infrastructure at all.

The LTN in Stroud Green will make east-west journeys much longer: The parks and railway line already a huge barrier and the route through Tollington Park and Endymion Road is the current route through. The alternative are either round the bottom of the park or through Crouch End.

Stroud Green Road is left as the travel corridor between LTNs. It already suffers from too much traffic and speeding, and isn't pleasant to cycle on.

One thing that did catch my eye was:

'The vision for Wood Green is that it will become North London’s most prosperous and green town centre.'
