You see the building when you enter the tube station from Goodwin st.

Anyone knows if there are any development plan for it in the future.
Think the building looks quite nice and could be transformed into many things...

- An indoor Market
- A large foodcourt
- A bar/brewery

  • It used to be a post office sorting office and really handy for picking up undelivered parcels, now it is off t0
    Kentish Town
  • A bit of a dog’s dinner, having so much architectural detail on such a small building, perhaps a rather Victorian sensibility (even though the date on the left of the facade is 1904), but still a gem of what would once have been considered a public utility. If anyone is doubt that it should be preserved, just look at the utter soul-crushing rubbish that has been built around there since!
  • There's a huge carpark next to it - I'd have thought that the two would be a prime development site.
  • It's a bit bonkers, in the style of its time, but appealing all the same. Much better to see it converted into some kind of community resource than into fabulously overpriced flats.
  • Reviving the sorting office would be a good move, following the N4 xmas post catastrophe! The missing parcels of the last month arrived at last a couple of days ago - all posted mid December.
  • I don't think the issue with delayed parcels was lack of facilities as much as it was lack of staff due to Covid. A sorting/collection office there would be convenient though.
