A 1735 map "A Survey of the Roads and Foot paths in the Parish of Islington", engraved in 1811, nicely shows Stroud Green .

Interesting that it doesn't show the full extent of Stroud Green (including althe Stapleton Hall house or tavern) since the hamlet was split between Islington and Hornsey - it only shows Hornsey.
