Hillrise councillor election
Anyone wondering what on earth's been going on?
Labour very tight-lipped about the reason their councillor suddenly disappeared after just two months in office, despite press inquiries etc.
I was told by LibDem canvassers that someone fitting their description had been arrested by police just at the time of the councillor's disappearance.
This would explain the strange silence.
There's an excellent Independent candidate standing - Alison Stoecker - if anyone's planning to vote tomorrow and finds Labour's dodginess over all this rather distasteful.
