Hi everybody!
Just another week...and yet the first market in September always feels special, with a renewal of energy that is partly due to the shifting season and partly caused by the return of quite a few people to the playground - stallholders as well as customers.
Back from hols: rye bread, Francesco, pies, both cheese stalls, kimchi, olives, Steve's coffee, cider & more.
That makes 25 traders at least, each one of them worth the visit. As for customers, there are no doubt many thousands of you, keen to buy good food and have a good time doing it, and aware of the social, environmental and economic implications of something as simple as a trip to the farmers market. The exact number, however, is still to be counted...
