Three missed. Mental. I'm sad for Croatia because I really liked the team but hey, I'm also loving the crazy Turkish journey so all power to them. They just quoted a stat that Turkey have only been ahead for 2 minutes in playing time the whole tournament and they're in the semi's. All good stuff.

Being obtuse Swindon reminds me of the magic roundabout ! the guy who invented them was in the obituaries Guardian today. I can also remember my first business trip there in 1982 I walked past the Garrard factory, anyone who knows about record deck or is old will know what I am talking about. ( Although Panasonic killed them off)

I'm really proud of my boys though, they did really really well - it could easily have been a complete walkover and they've proved they totally deserved to get as far as they did. Roll on the World Cup!
