  You're not alone. I noticed some planes flying much later than usual Fri or Sat night (& lower/louder). I believe we are under Heathrow's flightpath. Someone more aviation minded may be able shed some light?

  I think they shift the flight paths around, so sometimes we're under it and sometimes we're not.

  Thanks for that Shaun. This old granny is enjoying watching the early flights. They are very close to the area.... Makes it almost bearable watching....

  Yes we are indeed sometimes under Heathrow's flightpath but they vary it and it depends on weather conditions/wind direction maybe? It only bothers me in the summer when I have my bedroom window open and get woken up at 6am. But it's nothing compared to SW London. I spend weekends and some weeknights in Oval and 747's thundering over the roof of your house every minute from 6am is nothing in comparison. I like to come back to SG for some quiet...
