BIRDSTRIKE!

we were awoken this morning by a large PHEASANT crashing through our back window! seriously. whatever posh stuff is apparently going on in the park at 7am, it now apparently includes game hunting...

anyway we now have a couple of panes of smashed glass in our big sash window. can anybody recommend an emergency glazier? cheaper is better...

we got a photo, and will post it later when we're slightly less weirded out.

That's the best post on here in ages. Well done. Incidentally, a pigeon hurled itself with impressive force against the big glass window by my desk in my office (Holborn, not SGR) on Friday morning. It made quite a noise, and left a very distinct spatchcocked imprint of itself, with some feathers. I did peer out to see if it was lying injured on the pavement below, but there was nothing there.

only just got around to sorting the clothes from the rack this morning, to found that it had shat on some. is pheasant shit believed to be an aphrodisiac in some cultures?
