  I've been running it on my machine since WWDC in June, no problems but then it is a stock machine. I'd not have thought a different HDD would make a difference? Probably best asking over on the Apple Discussion forums.

  I thought this thread would concern the sighting of an actual snow leopard in Finsbury Park, possibly galloping down the slope at the back to munch on a badly-trained dog, and am now bitterly disappointed.
