Desk space required

Hello,

I know people have posted before, but I'm looking for a deskspace to park my computer and do some designing, from the end of March 2010. If anyone knows of anywhere I'd be keen to hear. Have looked on gumtree and only found 1 or 2 possibilities.

This is probably a silly question, but what does 'deskspace' mean exactly? A room, or a space in an office, or...?

Sorry. A desk in an office really. I can't afford to hire an office, and just need some space to work. Somewhere to plug in my computer, get on the internet and do my work.

In that case, why not the Front Room or similar? Free wireless, I see plenty of people working in there. The odd coffee and maybe lunch still cheaper than rent.

Your best bet is probably to try the mews just off Ossian rd.
There are various businesses in there that might have a space.

I don't think they'd appreciate it in the front room 5 days a week for 8 hours Shaun, especially as it's not a laptop!!

I've just given up some desk space near Dalston Kingsland (a nice quick cycle or a leisurely 35min commute overground: Crouch Hill-Gospel Oak-Dalston Kingsland). It was £216 per month, no extras. Broadband included, good range of people there and 24-hour access. Great stuff. I only gave it up because we're moving to Cornwall mid-Feb. It was OK but the people there tended to be older and I wanted a lower average age and something in common with the people I was to share with. Bizarrely I also wanted the commute. I know andy has a local place, not sure of the details. best of luck.
