WRAY CRESCENT SUMMER FESTIVAL

edited April 2010 in Local discussion
It is that time of year again. The Wray Crescent Summer Festival will be taking place on Saturday 19th June, 2pm - 5pm.

Do let me know (daniel.hulls@blueyonder.co.uk) if you are happy to volunteer either in the planning or on the day. The more the better.

See you (surprisingly) soon!

Daniel

PS Thanks to Chris (ginger monkey) for the fantastic photos from last year

I didn't know about this as wasn't nearby last year. I've just been reading the comments on the other thread, sounds good.

I do face painting for children's parties, (I have an up to date CRB check for working with kids), would that be a useful thing to do at the festival? I can also donate some baked goods.

Hi Annie - yes indeed, probably on both counts. It would be great if we could get in contact by email: daniel.hulls@blueyonder.co.uk

Where can I get a "God loves Tollington" balloon from? Very amusing.

Apparently the Hackney Brook rises in Wray Cresent. It is of course an underground river but I was wondering if there is any evidence of flooding around there?

When did it become Wray Crescent Park? I always admired the lack of pretension in the name Wray Crescent Open Space.
