  Couldn't we try putting valuables out of sight and locking the car door - and just see how that goes for a while?

  I've seen more than a few cars in the area where people often forget to close their car window. But If I ever caught anyone breaking into a car on my road, I'd go Boondock Saints on their ass with my retractable dog lead.

  I love the Boondock Saints! Have you seen the sequel? I haven't yet, not sure whether it's a good idea or not.

  My car has been broken into 6 times in the past 14 months on Albany Rd / Stapleton Hall Road. Nothing is ever on display and I've now had to resort to leaving the glovebox open and taken the passenger shelf out so that would-be-thieves can see everywhere. They have ruined both doors by bending them back and trashed one of the locks. SO annoying!

  There are few areas of London which wouldn't benefit from a bit of Boondock Saints, the Punisher, or even rubbish Brit takes on the theme (usually starring Danny Dyer).
