Quite literally. **The iconic Bittern steam train is running through North London** ![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/1c/LNER_Class_A4_60019_Bittern.jpg/300px-LNER_Class_A4_60019_Bittern.jpg) <http://www.ianvisits.co.uk/calendar/events/index.php?com=detail&eID=10343>; Leaving King’s Cross around 09:15 the train follows the route of famous old trains like the Flying Scotsman. Storming up the gradient through Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace, then northwards it will call at Potters Bar, Stevenage and Peterborough to pick up more passengers. For bystanders, it takes about 5 minutes to travel between Kings Cross and Finsbury Park - and a further 10 minutes to get to Potters Bar. The train will return along the same route - reaching Kings Cross at 8:30pm.
