It's pretty eclectic; it sounds like one of my playlists, which is why I like it. I've heard a good bit of Northern soul, decent indie, 80s alternative... I believe that DJs also play but haven't been in during those times. I need to go there a bit more often, really. I understand that the Sunday lunch is blinding and I also like the fact that I have always managed to get a table or a sofa. Plus, it's open past 11pm (at least on the weekend nights I've been there).
That would be the approximate direction of my views of 80s alternative, yes. I've heard some surprisingly unusual stuff there - struggling to put my finger exactly on anything though, as my dire memory becomes even worse when wine is involved.
I've just read Philistine' racist hate diatribe and I can't blame him as I was brought up to believe that wogs begin at Chester. Ho ever I do love a Morris and Dickerson Melton Mowbury pork pie though, for me, it is an imported delicacy.
