Can anyone recommend a good tree surgeon. Planted a eucalyptus a couple of years ago it was tiny and so cute but nobody warned me they have the growing power of Jacks beanstalk. I really need to do something with it before it disappears into the clouds.

the whole giant thing sounded great until Ali pointed out the root thing and now I am going to have a very bad nights sleep thing that a tree and a giant are going to fall through my roof at any time.

A eucalyptus come down onto my mum's roof a few years ago at Christmas. I think they are quite light, so it didn't really damage anything. It's just really hard to deal with a giant tree wedged half on the top of the house.

thank-you slats and flembo for the tip. Now hopefully my roof can remain giant free and maybe once the tree has been given the chop I can make myself a lovely warm nest out of the leaves.
