Crafty Pint workshop - make haberdashery

Come along if you fancy a relaxing afternoon making things in the company of locals. We'll show you what to do, give you homemade cake to keep you going, and all the better if you fancy a drink from the bar too.

This time it's a haberdashery-fest, making pin cushion hedgehogs & mice, pin pots,<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xtinalamb/5517787060/in/set-72157627184653590/"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5211/5517787060_e825a532f8_m.jpg" width="150" align="right" style="margin-left : 10px;" style="margin-top : 20px;" border="0" /></a> bias binding from recycled fabrics, and covered fabric buttons. We have some nice upholstery fabrics donated by Sanderson from their 50s range, plus materials from our vintage stash for you to choose from.

Coming up next: <a href="http://handmadeintooting.wordpress.com/crafty-pint-north/" target="_blank">make Christmas cards and decorations</a> on Saturday November 19th. Screen print xmas motifs onto cards, embellish with rubber stamps and make little pennants and garlands for the tree.
