Lived in Stroud green for 17 years, until I got married in 1977 moved to Walthamstow and still living there opp Epping Forrest. I love the area, It is up and coming lots of history and culture, see the william morris centre or try the theatre at the Old Rose & Crown & the Bell pub on forest road . Still have a large part of Stroud Green in my heart and will always love to hear of how you love where you live, this is what makes a place special. It's not a competition, it's putting an effort, love & being proud of where you live both beautiful places with beautiful people.
There was a couple having sex in the wcs of a certain pub on Tollington on Friday nite . Very obviously. She came out still adjusting her knickers and he was in a bit of a state.my reli Dorcas was unimpressed . So this is new yuppie stroud green?
Brilliant! I'll definitely get in touch with them.

The Walthamstow knitting group is up and running every first and third Monday of the month at the Bell. If anyone happens to be over that way and of a knitting/crocheting bent do come along.
Used to go all the time as a little'un. My gran lived in Highams Park then and was a fan of Morris, so we used to go there for a cuppa after we'd been down Walthamstow Market.
I haven't actually been yet, although I have been to Lloyd Park a few times. There's an exhibition called Art of Embroidery on at the moment which I'm planning to go to.
People having the audacity to go through the donated clothes outside Mind every Sunday.

People stupid/lazy enough to leave clothes donations outside a shop when it is closed.

Oh no! That's terrible, what kind of person burgles a charity shop?
Someone stole a load of veg from our allotments last week. There are some right old bandits about.
