Was thinking just the opposite. There's a few there whose music I really like - Outkast, Kanye, Azealia Banks, Pharrell, Earl Sweatshirt, etc... Takes all sorts as my grandma would say.
I really like Outkast but not with Bruno Mars headlining. If Pharrell does N*E*R*D stuff then that would be great but he might just sing 'Happy' for the whole show (I do love that song) <div><br></div><div>Kanye West is just awful, he used to be ok 10 years ago but now he's just spouts rubbish. </div><div><br></div><div>But like I said where are the bands?? </div><div><br></div><div>£75 or so for a ticket is rather steep too. There's meant to be some kind of resident discounted tickets but can't make out how much they are. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
sweatshirt ? I am out of touch but this line up sounds unstarry. What about subo or the X factor stars? Kanye has been done for Gbh so do we need him?

Oh Lord, the awful Ellie Goulding? Must they? Salt n Pepa I can live with, but may have to revive my 80s <span style="font-size: 10pt;">pre-going out drinks of choice - Malibu, Thunderbird or Diamond White.</span>
well, they are all strange names to me, but my student daughter is thrilled to be going - I just wish I'd known about the local discount before I lent her the cash for the ticket ...<div><br></div><div>Mirandola is clearly young at heart (as well as no doubt in years). As for most of the rest of us, it looks alarmingly like a rerun of the hipsters thread. Youth, youth! pass the bottle. </div>
Outkast are possibly the best thing hip hop has ever delivered. The run of albums through ATLiens, Aquemini, Stankonia and the Love Below / Speakerboxx were an incredible body of work.<br><br>Two of my favourites:<br><a href=""><br> href=""> haven't played together in this country in at least 14 years. <br><br>Hence I found myself paying £75 a ticket to go stand miles away and not be able to hear them properly in the park where a comedian thought they should play second billing to some bloke called Bruno Mars.<br><br>I looked at this and thought I may be wasting my money on a disappointing experience, or I may be taking advantage of the only chance I get to see a legendary duo - and they're playing walking distance to my house.<br>
Papa L I was tempted to get a ticket just for Outkast too but decided against it hoping that maybe they'd play another date or festival in London. <div><br></div>
Thanks to this here forum i got free tickets to Feis in Fin park 2011. Decided to send Mr T and his father who were going to meet up inside.<div><br></div><div>Mr T got there first, went to grab a bite to eat accidentally wandered into a restricted area he thought was the food area ( apparently not well signed). Security in all their heavy handed zealousness decided to throw him out the whole park not just restricted area.</div><div><br></div><div> Mr T feeling very hard done by and unhappy decided to climb the fence fell broke his wrist badly , bones sticking out the skin. Security rushed over including the two responsible for throwing him out, this time freaking out at the state of his injury wanting to escort him to the first Aid tent, Mr T found this laughable under the circumstances , feeling he should never have been thrown out at all and clearly needed hospital treatment not first aid , He declined their help and stormed off them trailing after him quite freaked out like he was some kind of mad man they were now to frightened to get to near. Thankfully the father in law saw the commotion with Mr T in the middle of it and got him to hospital.</div><div><br></div><div>I was happily at home listening to the fest from there, thinking he was inside having a nice time when in fact was in the Whitt being turned into the bionic man ( large permanent steel plate needed to hold his wrist together)</div><div><br></div><div>Hope its not the same security firm if they cannot cope with a middle aged man on his best behavior , mind boggles as to what will be happening with a park full of youths. </div>
Salt n Pepa are from Brooklyn, but when did Chang ever let the facts get in the way of a story?<br><br>@Toddlesocks Mr T should have sued the organisers. <br>
