I see a group of local guerrilla gardeners calling themselves The Guardians of Stroud Green - including one of our local Haringey Councillors - have started a voluntary project to clean up and plant out the SGR/Upper Tollington corner outside Bacchus, with the aim of 'rewilding' it for community use. Seems like a worthwhile project and perhaps a jumping off point for pedestrianising and reclaiming it as a 'green'. Here's their Instagram page (hope it works):
Should this get a separate thread with it's own title - Greening Stroud Green?
This is a cool idea. Though I spot Cllr Eldridge Culverwell among the crowd so I partly wonder whether this is a party political thing? On other hand one of the local Stalinist street drinkers is there too.

The name makes them sounds like they should be wearing military style uniforms.
