Development of John Jones Site
I see they've put up signs along the John Jones side of Clifton Terrace about parking being suspended for several months early next year. Presumably that is for the redevelopment and so is a good sign of progress?

@vetski - That's what I really like about reporting leaks to them via Twitter. Much faster than phone call, plus if you have a smartphone you can do it when you see a leak, quickly and without getting in the way of whatever you are off to do.

New cafe
Tried it out myself for the first time this week. Lovely couple of people working there and good coffee. So good even an untrained caffeine palette like my own could notice. Which is no mean feat :-)

A quick update - as fixing this requires digging up a busy road, Thames Water have said they've got to sort things with TfL/the council and so it may be some time before the digging happens.

Have you tried the council? I've found both Haringey and Islington pretty good at removing this sort of rubbish from streets quickly. Getting potholes repaired however is a whole other story... :-)

I think the suggestion made about a scale model of the proposals is a good one (and I say that as someone who originally thought the plans were far too big until I followed the debate in some detail - which I guess not everyone does).
