  • Oh, live a little and stop finding fault with everything. The point of sweets like that is that they make good presents. I wouldn't buy them for myself, but presentation delights some people more than actual content. And in this case they were cheap!

  • Made out like a bandit on Hope & Greenwood style jars of sweets one November in the Wembley branch. Agree that the High St Ken one is surprisingly nice. Could go either way!

  • I feel entirely safe here (confident single female). I don't find that I'm ever that far from people, even late at night - better than the 'nice' parts of Acton and Hammersmith which can be eerily deserted.

  • Totally agree with the above. When I dropped in the chap was very friendly and fixed my wibbly headset for free (I had gone in with the intention of signing up for the membership thingy, but it wasn't yet set up).  Had some cracking shortbread too.
