I went there for lunch today. I thought the food was good - quite the selection! The staff are really nice and I like the interior. I’d say it’s a good addition to SGR.

i agree with northnineteen re the one way system. The only time when it doesn't work is when there is a severe problem on the line and that was always a disaster anyway. Having said that, it will be great when the entrance is re-opened. Between that…

I can second that - I was there early evening. There's a fantastic range of wine and the lower end is remarkably good value. There aren't many places you can get a good glass of wine that start in the £3 bracket!

The growler station is their USP. I think they have 6 - 8 taps in their other shops.

I 100% agree with this point - I'd rather the neck oil. Better beer and better value (both in my humble opinion). There is however a price point where a number of people won't go above, regardless of perceived value. Quite interesting pub economics …

I ate here this evening with my girlfriend and thought it was excellent. The food and wine were great and I think the place itself has been really well fitted out. A real contender for best restaurant in the area (in my humble opinion)
