While Sky may have been founded by everyone's favourite evil wrinkled Australian far right tycoon bogeyman, he doesn't own any of it any more... It was sold in 2018. So safe to watch it!
The photo is from March 2020, so perhaps the masked figure on the left hadn't yet fathomed how to wear it.

I suspect it's only "minority ethnic" to make it BAME and not BAEM, and to allow whoever invented the stupid term to look down their nose at those of us outmoded enough to be using "ethnic minority" or whatever else.
Exciting times. Once we celebrated having interesting independent shops, soon they'll be gone and we'll have all the big supermarket chains to choose from, just like everywhere else.
This any use?

"Journalist" guy could at least refrain from such a clickbaity, misleading title for his video if he wants any credibility.

Where possible, one ought to collect from local takeaways rather than use Deliveroo, Uber etc, since they cost the restaurant a hefty commission. I believe it's as much as 20-30%.
My comment really wasn't meant to be a complaint.. Having been here 20 years I still think Stroud Green is great, and for exactly the reasons cited by @cmo.
Having not been to this Deli at 80 place myself it's more of a general observation, but I'd far sooner define a "nice place to live" as somewhere with shops selling things I like to buy at reasonable prices than somewhere full of shops selling overp…
Once walking in the park near that multi-sided bench/shelter thing some youths sat there shouted "what you want, officer?" as I approached... As a non-copper I was rather surprised! And I wasn't even wearing a The North Face jacket.
Does anyone know when whatever noise-fest is currently taking over the park will be gone?
The parasitic promoter hasn't even got the decency to deliver a leaflet telling me when to expect them to F off and give the park back.
I'd always considered the slightly haphazard feel of Stroud Green Road (the "shit-hole ambience?") to be part of its appeal, but I do agree that cars blocking pavements and cycle lanes and so on isn't ideal. I suppose I'm just used to it.
So "the two car washes should be closed down immediately" because what? Because they're not all "nice" like another wine bar or hipster cafe? Because you might get your feet wet while walking past?
That Big Yellow one has been there as long as I …
I enjoy the opposite approach. Always wear normal civilian outfit, no need for dedicated cycling attire, and so arrive anywhere instantly ready to become a pedestrian again.

I'd always thought the rules for cycling on that bridge were the same as for the Parkland Walk, i.e. cycling permitted but with due consideration for pedestrians. Seems reasonable enough if everyone's sensible.
I can't speak for anyone else (peopl…
