I have recently discovered they do a take home box of gelato, so you can pick loads of delicious flavours, and they fill it to the brim. It's a dream!

Their fresh produce is labelled if it's organic, and priced accordingly! I've bought some veg (not organic) from there over the last few days, it's great. Very happy to have a greengrocer back at this end of SGR.

We got takeaway pizza from La Favourita today, their pizzas are massive 18"ers, with the discount (till the 15th) very good value, but flavourwise I only rate it as 'Ok'. No where near as tasty as pappagone / la Porchetta.

Check out Stationers Park on Mayfield Road. They've just revamped the top section with a new version of the wooden fort. It's fantastic. Muddy though, so wellies are advisable.

On Sunday I saw Blossom Jackson (used to be a regular on Eastenders). She was navigating her way up SGR with a handwritten note, I suspect she was off for tea with Dr Legg.

If you want to learn to play an instrument, take up the ukulele! Ukulele playing is a breeze, with a few chords you'll be up and running... and the learning and practice is driven by how eeeeeaasy and fun it is to play....

I don't know when the judging would take place, but Wray Crescent Festival springs to mind... that's usually end of June, although I am not sure if that is the height of the growing season, it might be a little early in the year?
