I've ordered from Venezia by phone before but not had any spam texts. Have never ordered from Lupa. Just to add to the highly unconclusive circumstantial evidence.

On the other hand if fancy walking to get a pizza and trying somewhere different - Piccolo Diavolo does great pizzas.

Called Venezia for a delivery, although i couldn't access their menu online. The woman who took the call rushed through so quickly to get to the "that will be £12.50" point that i was barely able to register what i was ordering. It arrived super quick, but it wasn't thoroughly cooked, so really i'd rather have waited another 5 minutes or so. Or bought something out of the freezer in the NISA shop..... fail.
We got takeaway from Venezia on Wednesday. The waitress tried to charge me £24 for an order that should have cost £17. The pizza sat there while they tried to sort out the bill. By the time I got it home, it was room temperature.

This is pretty typical of my experience at Venezia. The pizzas aren't bad, but the service is consistently crap. It's not uncommon to be told that it would be 15 minutes, then have to sit there waiting for a further 30.

We're switching back to Firezza. Their pizza bases are nicer than Venezia's, and they have a cheap deal on Tuesdays (buy 1, get a second for £1).
